I just tried to update a drawing and the oekaki apps don't work, even with a Java update. I don't think we'll be seeing much more new content here, unless someone can suggest to me a browser/OS combo that works.

Lately I've been posting all my stuff at inkbunny.net.

EDIT: Okay, so apparently we can start new drawings, but we can't work on the old ones.

EDIT 2: I've added http://secretmoon.org* to my Java security exception list, but it's still getting blocked. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think it depends on the software you used to make it. Chicken Paint restores my image just fine :o

Hyup. That's because Chicken Paint uses HTML5. All my old drawings were done in Shii-Painter Pro, which uses Java. And Java is what's tripping my security settings, no matter which browser I use.

So now the only way I can edit an old drawing is by saving it and then opening it in photoshop or similar. Which is fine in some cases, except when I need to work with layers.

I'll do a bit of research and see what I can come up with.

BTW, I'm not blaming Ben for this. It was time to update, Java is old, and I haven't touched those drawings in years.

Yeah, ran into that too. Chrome won't run oekaki at all. Firefox will run it, but I keep getting these annoying white screen flashes. Oddly enough, Safari runs it just fine.

Anyhow, what's Mae up against in this picture? Some creature out of a game or a movie or something?
